It has long been known that intimidation, pain and force are not required in order to train a dog, regardless of whether the dog is a Pet dog, a Performance dog, a Canine Athlete, a Show dog, a Police/K9 dog, a Therapy Dog, or a Service/Assistance dog.

In addition, intimidation, pain and force based methods far too often create more problems than they solve; problems such as anxiety, fearfulness, aggression, shutting down, inability to learn, and fear of owner and/or environment.

These are just a few of the reasons SMART DOGS prefers to use and teach only Dog-Friendly, Up-to-Date, Positive Reinforcement-based training, in particular "real" Clicker Training.  We create a pain-free Learning Environment where Dog Training is Fun for the Humans AND the Dogs.  CLICK!
